1. Can my job be replaced by machines?

2. Can my job be done by others?

3. Is the demand for the product I provide elastic or not? His point is that technological advancements are changing the prospects for employment at an unprecedented speed. Things that just 5 years ago were done by humans, are now done by machines and code.

The long-term benefits are probably positive as things will likely become cheaper and we’ll have more time for leisure. Until then individuals not prepared for the changes may be replaced by machines, get laid off or take pay cuts.

Until societies implement good models to share the wealth and the leisure time that technological advances will bring us, the most creative problem solvers and adaptive team players will reap the fruits of an uncertain future.
