About This Course

Education in Asia, and especially China, is highly valued. Parents invest heavily in supporting their children’s education. This makes the partnership between schools and home an essential dimension in Asia, especially China. This is exacerbated when schools offer an approach to education that differs from that experienced by parents.

This course will introduce reported links between parental engagement with (i) pupil attainment, (ii) broader learning development and (iii) learner behaviour. It will provide an opportunity to learn about approaches in Asia International Schools Limited (AISL) Harrow Schools to enhance parental engagement and communication.
