Mike's expertise extends to academic leadership, having served as the Head of Department at a leading UK school, where he demonstrated a profound understanding of the academic rigours and expectations of top academic institutions.  

Mike is Co-founder and Head of Education at Avernus Education, where he is instrumental in overseeing pupil pathways, ensuring students are well-prepared and positioned to achieve their educational ambitions. Mike also heads up Avernus' offering of residential camps and programmes. Mike contributes to a range of publications and learning platforms helping parents to understand the complex university application process, as well as advising them on the best of British education.
