This course aims to develop an understanding of generative AI and build a framework for considering how to integrate it into K-12 education. Topics include an introductory explanation of the technology, AI’s role in teaching, ethical challenges, and practical strategies. By the end of the course, learners will understand generative AI technologies, along with their potential and limitations in an educational context.

Laura Knight

Laura Knight is specialises in digital strategy and innovation. Previously, she served as Director of Digital Learning at Berkhamsted School for over a decade. With two decades of teaching experience, Laura excels in strategic technology development for teaching and learning, 1-1 devices, AI, digital skills training, and online safeguarding.  

Laura contributes to advisory boards, including EDUtech Europe, the Good Future Foundation, and the Independent Schools Council Digital Advisory Group. She also advises international governments, edtech companies, and school groups on digital strategy and educational policy, providing training and insights for associations like the Independent Schools Association and the Society of Heads.
